"As we have up to 1500 shipments per month and more than 20 carriers with whom we collaborate it is very important that the transport assignment is of high quality and that the freight cost control is comprehensive. After an intensive selection procedure we decided to use the standard software logistics-server by inet-logistics for the optimisation of these tasks and for the realisation of our accordingly extensive requirements. The logistics know-how which is already integrated in the software, an existing, certified SAP-interface, the possible, efficient structuring of the implementation project as well as the references of our partner triggered this decision. After a little while it was thus possible to carry out the transport assignment process with significantly higher stability and efficiency. The freight cost billing was successfully changed over to the credit note procedure – based on a freight cost control system which now is automated, complete and usage-dependent. An extension to the module "spot-sourcing” is planned at the moment.” | |
