inet-logistics Strengthens Global Projects

(Österr. Verkehrszeitung 04.2006) "The optimisation of transport networks and the consequent reduction of freight costs becomes more and more important to large scale industries," underlines Oswald Werle, CEO, in an interview with the Österreichischen Verkehrszeitung. The most explicit sign for this development has been the company's expansion of operations in the course of the last weeks and months to Hungary and the Ukraine. Werle describes Eastern Europe as future market. However, in the medium and long term he would also like to attend with inet-logistics to projects in the Far East and Northern America.

Werle and his team attend to approx. 120 customers at the moment, amongst them are 20 multinationals. The use of the standard software solutions for supply chain execution brings users average freight cost savings between 5 and 8 per cent. In some cases these values get exceeded considerably. Werle: "The more complex and multifaceted the transport structures are the higher are the cost reductions which can be achieved by means of our solutions."
