Teamwork. Cooperation with Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (IML )

(a3 Volt 04.2006) The inet-logistics GmbH and the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (IML) agreed to enter a cooperation. Within the openID-centre the logistics-server® takes on all tasks which are related to the inventory management, the loading device scheduling, and the usage-dependant lease-price-clearing for reusable loading devices. "The partnership with the Fraunhofer IML presents for us the consequent continuation of our ambition to use the new possibilities offered by RFID-technology in order to optimise cross-company transport processes sustainably," says Oswald Werle, CEO inet-logistics.

inet-logistics furthermore plans to use the location of the openID-centre after the integration and launch of the software. Thus the company intends to organise events in Dortmund and present the logistics-server® in a modern environment.
