(Technik Report 06.2006) The Austrian company inet-logistics, provider of standard software solutions for Supply Chain Execution (SCE), presented the solution suite logistics-server as integral part of cross-company logistics processes. The logistics-server offers continuous solutions for tasks which are related to the planning, monitoring and execution of logistics processes across companies. The standard software solution which is based on Web-technologies is structured modularly and is based on components. The functions get operated in highly available data centres and can be accessed via high-security Internet or Extranet connections from all IT-environments. However, private operation is also possible.

Certified interfaces to SAP, for example, allow for the integration into existing IT-environments. The logistics-server was designed as solution suite. It includes standard software solutions for logistics tasks from the fields transport management, procurement management, loading device management, freight cost management, and repair logistics.
