(DVZ 09.2006) ThyssenKrupp Materials Europe GmbH (TKME) with headquarters in Düsseldorf decided to use the "logistics-server" by inet-logistics, a provider from Wolfurt. The software platform should make the control of inbound transports, the supply of the subsidiaries and the control of arising special transports more efficient at TKME. For this purpose the logistics-server gets directly connected to the SAP-system of TKME and to the IT-systems of the contracted logistics service providers.

The logistics-server by inet furthermore supports the automatic control of all arising freight costs. Credit notes can also be generated automatically with the aid of the platform.
