logistics.de pools expertise on supply chain execution
NetSkill AG invited committee members of the SCE (Supply Chain Execution) Competence Center to a meeting at AEB GmbH in Stuttgart, the second time that they have organised such an initiative.
(www.presseanzeiger.de 02.2009) At a meeting held during the German Logistics Congress in Berlin midway through the month, members of the committee had already discussed the definition of the term’ and examined the communicative opportunities for establishing supply chain execution in the operational value added chain.
The experts are now all in agreement: Supply chain execution has an exceptionally beneficial effect on the four pillars of 1) stability/quality/reliability, 2) agility/flexibility, 3) cost reduction and 4) sustainability of operative excellence in every company, regardless of the particular sector of the economy it operates in. Members of the SCE Competence Center Holger Klug (Oracle Deutschland GmbH), Oliver Kropp (Epicor Software Deutschland GmbH), Markus Meissner (AEB GmbH), Dr Joachim Schmidt (PTV AG), Oswald Werle (inet-logistics GmbH) and Jörg-Allhardt Wünsch (inconso AG) resolved to develop an industry-wide communication plan which would shine the spotlight on existing online communication and make this topic the focus of intensive trade fair and conference activity.
